Jenny began working at Schoonover Industries July 2007 working with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. She was raised in Ashland County and began her career working at her mothers bulk food store, The Food Dock, starting during junior high. After the birth of her son, she transitioned to working at Mid-Ohio Exhaust & Brakes Inc., her father's business, as receptionist beginning August 1987; she still works there part-time as bookkeeper. In 1996, she graduated receiving Associates in Accounting with honors from North Central State College.

Although recently moving back to Ashland area to live, she has worked in the community the past 10 years as Administrative Assistant at the Red Cross and United Way. She graduated with the 2005 Leadership Ashland class and has volunteered for Associated Charities, her church video team, Christian Motorcycle Association, and school parents club. Volunteer hours are spent working on local Red Cross Disaster Action Team and local Xi Alpha Sigma Sorority chapter. During time away from work, she is an avid fan of NASCAR; attends Grace Brethren Church; and enjoys camping, reading and cross stitching.
